MAD Dance Works, a dynamic initiative founded by Macy Deppe, is a platform that welcomes all performing artists. It's a place where you can Get M.A.D.—Make a Difference through artistry, movement, collaboration, and growth, regardless of your background or experience level.
Macy Deppe is a professional dancer, educator, and creator based in New York City. Originally from the Midwest, she pursued her college education at Chapman University in Southern California, where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance and a Minor in Musical Theater. Passionate and driven, Macy brings a wide array of ideas to the arts world and founded MAD Dance Works as an umbrella organization to develop and support her creative projects.
Through MAD Dance Works, Macy aims to unite the dance communities of the West Coast, Midwest, and East Coast—fostering visibility, connection, and a more informed artistic network across the country and beyond. Her deep love for these diverse communities fuels her mission to encourage greater collaboration in a time when many artists face isolation and a lack of support. Macy aspires to be a bridge, bringing artists together to share, create, and thrive in unity.
She invites you to join her on this journey and discover what MAD Dance Works has to offer. For questions, comments, ideas, or interest in getting involved, she welcomes you to reach out.
